Hi, I’m Brendan Dowling. I am a former SEAL, SOCM Medic and current Pepperdine student working on a Master’s in Clinical Psychology.
To this roundtable of passionate coaching professionals, I bring with me my time as a SEAL, Medic, Father, and heart driven servant. For you I have four aims; increase your presence both to yourself and others, challenge you to identify the ways in which you block yourself from fuller presence, challenge you to assume responsibility for the design of your present life, and encourage you to choose more expanded ways of engaging your passions.
Hi, I’m Ben Durbin. I served for 27 years in the military, including multiple tours within the Naval Special Warfare community during wartime.
I'm a performance coach who helps high-achievers master self-regulation, enhance resilience, and achieve sustainable peak performance. My coaching focuses on three key areas: 1) cultivating mental resources for high-pressure situations, 2) developing self-mastery techniques for improved decision-making and leadership, and 3) implementing healing practices to maintain long-term well-being. I became a coach to empower leaders and organizations with the tools to thrive under stress while maintaining balance in their personal and professional lives. My combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan provided me with firsthand experience in high-stress, high-stakes environments.
Hi, I’m Sarah Aiko Mayo. A dual-sport collegiate athlete, I made a natural transition into competing and coaching in CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting.
I’ve spent 11 years in the fitness industry, ranging from coaching group fitness classes, private 1-1 sessions, teaching camps and seminars internationally and competing at an elite level in CrossFit, weightlifting and ultra-endurance events. I take a neuroscience based approach to fitness to focus on reducing stress, increasing physical freedom and restoring hormonal balance, especially for women.
